  It's NOT fancy, but it's right across the street from the ocean and our kids LOVED the pool in the evenings. The pool is indoors and there's a lot of seating so we were able to sit & have a glass of (our own) wine while the kids swam & we ordered pizza and are at the tables by the pool (pretty much had the place to ourselves). If you're looking for a place to enjoy the Central Coast, San Simeon is absolutely beautiful and not too expensive compared to other places. The hotel was older but not gross & a good location.
